REFLEXION REHABILITATIVE MEASUREMENT TOOL

The Reflexion Rehabilitative Measurement Tool is a technology which uses X-Box Kinect (derived from the Video Game Technology) and is mainly used in neurorehabilitation allowing patients to carry out exercises as fun and play: treatment becomes a game. X-Box Kinect can be used not only to control compliance with the rehabilitation program, but also to keep track of the exercises and check that they are executed properly.

In this way, each patient has a “virtual therapist” available, who monitors every movement and is able to make any corrections immediately, making the rehabilitation program more efficient. It also comes with a console with voice commands: the patient can repeat an exercise several times until it’s done properly. This technology can be indicated for orthopaedic, neurological, post-stroke, and autistic patients.
